The Humane Society of the United States
reports that in communities where integrated sterilization programs
have been implemented, the number of animals euthanized has declined
30-60%.
The AnimalKind® Poster Campaign

AnimalKind designed a series of spay/neuter and adoption posters to help educate people about the benefits of prevention. Upon request, we have shipped hundreds of these posters to animal shelters and rescue organizations across the country for their local use. We are now out of the adoption posters and have a few "generic" versions of the spay/neuter posters remaining. If you are interested in ordering spay/neuter posters, please contact us to learn what we still have available.
The Spay/Neuter Newspaper Campaign

In 2001, AnimalKind launched a mass
media campaign in the Triangle area of North Carolina. This education
campaign represents a first-ever, unified effort endorsed by key
representatives of the animal welfare and veterinary communities.
The collaborative effort has:
- Encouraged more than a quarter million people
to spay/neuter their pets
- Supported, not duplicated, the work of shelters
and rescue organizations
- Tackled the source of the overpopulation
problem
- Promoted a unified approach to saving
animals
