Donating Items to ReTails*

We accept donations Tuesday’s through Saturday from 10 am – 4 pm and Sunday from 12 pm – 4 pm. We are closed on Monday’s.

ReTails Thrift Shop gratefully accepts donations of most gently-used clothing, furniture, and household items.

*Please note: Donors – please pull up to the back door and ring the doorbell for assistance. We will help you unload your donations. Please do not leave items outside. Thank you.

Items that ReTails CANNOT accept.

At times, our donation supply exceeds demand for certain categories of merchandise. When we have surplus, we either donate it to local charities or sell it for export to countries with short supply. We always try to ensure that usable surplus merchandise goes to people who need it (or in the case of blankets and towels to animals that need it!).

Here’s a list of items that we CANNOT accept:

Baby equipment including car seats, strollers, and cribs
Board games & puzzles with missing or broken pieces
Furniture that is broken, damaged, and/or obsolete
Metal desks and/or overly large desks
Bed pillows (non-decorative) & mattresses
Non-working electronics
Computers, monitors, fax machines, & printers
Obsolete televisions
Gas powered equipment
Gas grills
Flammable liquids & poisonous chemicals
Items and books that are mildewed or musty
